Data Architect (Salesforce) – Egham – circa £1,000 per day – 4 month contract
 
SearchDATA Group is looking to hire a Data Architect with exposure to Salesforce for a client based in Egham. This role will be an integral part of a data transformation programme that will revolutionise customer journey, supply chain and data capabilities. The programme will transform CRM solutions across divisions, many Business Units and sales & marketing teams.
 
The Data Architect will have ownership of all activities relating to data modelling, data migration, common data layer and interfaces. As such, there is a large emphasis on the design of the CRM logical data model suitable for a global Salesforce implementation.
 
This role can be based anywhere but will have the occasional requirement to travel to the main office in Egham.
 
Responsibilities for the Data Architect
·Data Model and Migration
·Own the consolidated Data Model
·Interface with the internal team and other programmes in relation to data
·Working with Divisions and Business Unit data owners, identify and analyse data quality from Data Source
·Develop a thorough understanding of CRM data
·Define data cleansing and deduplication rules
·Executes the data cleansing and deduplication (resolution of suspected duplicates where manual decision is needed)
·Define the rules for Account data ownership and assigns ownership for data loaded to CRM
·Ensure common data model for CRM, enabling advanced analytics and common ways of working
·Ensure common preferences and GDPR compliance across multiple CRM and Marketing Automation landscape
·Coordinate with business unit teams for data cleansing, improvement, deduplication, mapping and manual work pre/post go-live
·Lead the data work stream, taking responsibility for divisional data roles and deliverables
·Work closely with business analysts, technical architect, migration and reporting teams
 
Requirements for the Data Architect
·Exposure to a large enterprise-level Salesforce implementation
·Experience defining and maintaining data models (Essential)
·Analytical mind set with experience managing disparate data sets (Essential)
·Highly organised and excellent attention to detail (Essential)
·Significant experience with data migration projects, tools and methodologies (Essential)
·Experience of data cleansing, improvement, deduplication, mapping best practice (Essential)
·Understanding of data architecture, governance and regulatory areas such as GDPR (Essential)
·Experience with complex integrations and defining data flows (Preferred)
·Experience with Tableau (Preferred)
·Demonstrated understanding of and experience with CRM architecture and APIs (Preferred)
·Comfortable communicating with business, technical and user communities (Essential)
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Essential)
·Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (Preferred)
