Managing Consultant  (Data Analytics) – London

SearchBI is currently looking to recruit a Managing Consultant from within the Data Analytics industry to assist in the expansion of an international Data Solutions Provider based in central London.
This is a hands-on consultancy role but is also a senior appointment within the team and will be working closely with the UK Managing Director to grow the business in the years to come. As such, if you are aspiring to be a Head of Practice within your field, this would be the perfect opportunity to do so as the person hired for this role will have significant impact on the shaping of the UK business.

Key activities
·Delivering high quality data management, data visualisation and analytics solutions
·Helping design and delivery cloud-based data and analytics solutions (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
·A client-facing role that requires understanding our customers’ needs for  data, analytics, BI and technology
·A self-starter willing to take ownership of project delivery and managing stakeholders expectations
·Manage day-to-day client relationships
·Take an active role in shaping our consulting offerings
·Contributing to our methodologies and IP to accelerate client deliveries
·Helping shape project deliveries through requirements capture, user stories creation, and delivery planning
·Delivery line of business analytics solutions using predictive and statistical modelling techniques

·Experience on taking a lead role on client-facing projects, including working in close-knit teams
·Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake and native AWS tools
·Experience and interest in Big Data technologies (e.g. Spark)
·Strong development background with experience in at least two scripting, object oriented or functional programming language, etc. SQL, Python
·Experience working on projects within the cloud ideally AWS or Azure
·Good knowledge of industry technologies, services and business benefits of data and analytics
·Experience working on lively projects and a consulting setting, often working on different and multiple projects at the same time
·Data Warehousing experience, building operational ETL data pipelines across a number of sources, and constructing relational and dimensional data models
·Implementing data ingestion / presentation / semantics data layers as guided by BA/Data governance/conceptual data models
·Experience with leveraging Metadata to quicken project delivery and improve access to data
