SearchDATA Group are looking for a Salesforce Functional Lead to join a world-renowned US Consultancy, to work out of their London office.  Due to continued growth and a number of new customers, our client is looking to add to their UK presence and core senior team with this brand-new role you can really make your own.

The successful candidate will be joining a team of professionals in a fast-paced consultancy environment where they will be a key player in designing technical solutions for major clients.

You will be Salesforce-certified, have fantastic communication skills, a true consultative approach when advising and liaising with clients, and the ability to be hands-on-technical and deliver end-to-end solutions.

You must be someone with:

  • A Salesforce certification
  • A consultative mindset and approach
  • The ability to be hands-on-technical and deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Very strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with and advise clients to a high standard
  • Higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business or a similarly relevant field
  • Experience and understanding of Agile Project Methodologies
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience administering and/or developing on Salesforce.com including:
    • Managing user set up, profiles, roles, and sharing settings
    • Customizing Standard and Custom objects including fields, page layouts, and record types
    • Creating and managing workflow rules, data variations, and object customizations.
    • Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards
    • Importing and exporting data
  • A solid understanding of sales, service, and marketing processes and industry best practices to adequately understand client needs and provide guidance.
  • Proven knowledge of the software and systems development life cycle; experience with enterprise-level integrations involving business-critical systems
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce API
  • Experience developing and deploying custom end user systems, as well as the ability to provide guidance on implementation best practices
  • Experience coaching and managing team members.
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills and ability to think through problems creatively
  • Experience working with and/or managing both onshore and offshore development teams
  • Experience working within a dynamic team environment and independently

You will:

  • Conduct weekly client status meetings, create and manage project timelines, as well as engage in other project management activities
  • Lead work sessions with Salesforce.com customers and other team members to understand needs, define requirements and business processes
  • Lead work sessions to design and prototype the Salesforce.com application based on client needs
  • Configure and Customize Salesforce.com Sales, Service, Community, and Marketing Cloud applications
  • Analyse data, create field mappings, and execute data migrations
  • Assist in creation of use and/or test cases and facilitate or participate in system test
  • Design and deliver end user training
